About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Quality Automation Engineer with a history of attention to detail and passion for quality as we bring our next-gen platform to the world.
This is an opportunity of a lifetime for a Senior Quality Automation Engineer who wants to be at the heart of the AI movement to better humanity. As the Senior Quality Automation Engineer you’ll architect and maintain automated test frameworks, drive quality initiatives, identify defects, and ensure our platform exceeds the highest standards. You’ll be working directly with our QA Manager to enhance test coverage and improve testing efficiency.
In this dynamic role, you’ll support our teams responsible for:
- Test Automation: Designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test suites for new features and product releases.
- Defect Prevention & Detection: Proactively identifying, documenting, and tracking issues, using automation to increase speed and coverage.
- Collaboration: Collaborating cross-functionally with product owners and developers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Quality Assurance Improvement: Contribute to our growing team in refining testing processes to enhance product reliability.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Strategy & Test Development:
Develop, maintain, and expand automated test suites with a deep understanding of how the application’s components interact. Review planned functionality and help design end-to-end testing strategies that ensure both core and edge case coverage.
Quality Ownership & Creative Testing:
Thoroughly validate new features and acceptance criteria, not just for basic flows, but by creatively simulating unique and complex user scenarios. Conduct regular test plan audits to find improvement areas and raise the bar on overall product quality.
Defect Management & Troubleshooting:
Proactively identify, document, and track defects, writing detailed tickets with clear reproduction steps. Meet technical issues head-on: collaborate closely with engineers and product owners to troubleshoot, resolve, and prevent recurring issues.
Collaboration & Engineering Culture:
Contribute actively to a culture of accountability, teamwork, and quality using the Kizen software development life-cycle. Act as a key partner in code reviews, planning sessions, and retrospectives to embed quality at every step.
Documentation, Reporting & Growth:
Maintain comprehensive test documentation and keep test results and risks visible to stakeholders. Set personal growth goals, seek feedback, and engage in regular career advancement discussions with your manager.
