Strong skills in prompt engineering, workflow building, API integration, and telephony (SIP, Twilio, Amazon Connect, etc.).
Familiarity with LLMs (GPT, Claude, Gemini), vector DBs, and orchestration frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, etc.).
ML expertise in embeddings, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), evaluation frameworks, fine-tuning models, and performance optimization.
Solid programming skills (Python, JavaScript, or similar).

About the Role:
We are looking to hire a solutions-minded, AI-focused engineer to join our growing team in Palo Alto. In this role, the candidate will seize a unique opportunity to work with data from Fortune 500 companies' legal and risk departments, developing the most secure, enterprise-grade software using the latest in Generative AI. The opportunity to tackle challenges in creating cloud-agnostic solutions, maintaining stringent security and compliance standards, and building scalable, resilient platforms for enterprise applications, data, AI, and search also exist while you will be able to routinely innovate on behalf of our customers, collaborating with the world's top legal and risk experts, as well as preeminent business, technology, AI professionals, and engineers.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with customers to understand and address their AI/ML challenges, designing and deploying custom solutions that leverage company technologies.
Act as the primary technical contact, providing hands-on support during deployment and ensuring successful integration.
Collaborate with product management and engineering to convey customer feedback, influencing AI/ML product roadmaps.
Lead the deployment of AI/ML solutions, ensuring smooth integration and ongoing optimization.
Provide technical training to clients, identify challenges in AI/ML deployments, and proactively improve model performance.
Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on progress and outcomes.
Qualifications:
Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in AI/ML engineering, data science, or a similar role, with a strong background in deploying and integrating AI/ML solutions in real-world environments.
Proficiency in LLMs, RAGs, evaluation techniques, and machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch) and programming languages such as Python.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and ML services is essential.
Strong problem-solving skills in diagnosing and resolving AI/ML model issues, including model drift, data quality challenges, and performance optimization.
Experience in client-facing roles, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to build strong relationships with customers while guiding them through the AI/ML deployment process.
Familiarity with MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow) and experience in model deployment, monitoring, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) of AI/ML solutions.
A passion for AI/ML technologies and a desire to work on innovative solutions that drive significant impact for customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with applying artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques in customer deployments, particularly in areas such as data analysis, predictive modeling, or automation.
