We’re looking for a BizOps Manager to drive high-impact initiatives, working across operations, growth, and fellow engagement to scale and optimize our expert workforce. Business Operations is focused on identifying the biggest business opportunities and driving fast decision-making cycles to execute on them - from pricing to fellow engagement to revenue optimization.

You will be a key partner in driving Handshake’s ambitious AI strategy, using data and market insights to inform high-stakes decisions across both near-term execution and long-term planning. You’ll lead analysis and optimization across high-priority and emerging focus areas, shaping direction through business reviews and strategic planning. You’ll collaborate closely with C-level executives and AI business leaders. Your work will directly influence decisions made by the executive team and board of directors.

Your role

  • 0-to-1 Growth Strategy: Identify and size new AI business opportunities and revenue streams. Lead strategy development for fellow acquisition, segmentation, engagement, and retention. Build business cases and ROI analyses for strategic initiatives and AI investments

  • Measurement & Business Reviews: Define and maintain key metrics for the AI org. Translate strategic goals into actionable metrics for each sub-team. Support OKR development, track progress, and surface insights to inform ongoing priorities

  • Strategic Decision-Making: Lead analyses to guide major operational decisions, including new launches and strategic shifts. Use data to form clear recommendations and drive alignment across teams

Your experience

We’re looking for a data-driven problem solver who thrives in operationally complex environments. You bring analytical rigor and a bias for action, with a track record of scaling processes and driving clarity and decision-making in ambiguity.

Specifically, candidates should have proven experience in:

  • Data-Informed Decision Making: Demonstrated ability to use data to influence business and operational decisions. You can break down complex problems, synthesize insights, and clearly communicate recommendations to senior leaders through presentations or written memos.

  • Business Operations Expertise: Experience optimizing multi-stakeholder business models, balancing competing priorities, and scaling operations across diverse user segments. You understand how to allocate resources efficiently in complex environments.

  • Technical Analytics: SQL fluency and data acumen in still-developing big data environments

  • Cross-Functional Execution: A self-starter who builds strong cross-functional relationships and consistently drives high-impact outcomes by focusing on what matters most
