We're seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to join our team in Houston, TX and contribute to the development of cutting-edge humanoid robotics systems. You'll work directly with our mechanical and electrical engineering teams on real projects that impact our robot development.
What You’ll Work On:
PCBA Design & Testing: Support development and validation of custom electronics for humanoid robot power, communication, and actuation systems
Cabling Systems: Assist with design and prototyping of robotic systems with a focus on designing cabling and understanding grounding and bonding
Embedded System Development: Be involved with the writing, testing, and validating embedded software for the custom electronics that we have produced
Engineering Documentation: Create technical documentation, drawings, test reports, and design specifications
What you’ll learn:
Hands-on experience with humanoid robotics development from concept to product
Real-world application of engineering fundamentals in cutting-edge robotics
Qualifications:
Currently pursuing, or have obtained, a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or related field
A passion for robotics, automation, or electromechanical systems
Experience with electrical CAD software (ideally KiCAD), prototyping, and hands-on building (coursework, personal projects, student competitions, or hobby work)
Experience with embedded software development (C, C++, Python, Git tools) and circuit simulation software (LTSpice)
Strong work ethic and willingness to get hands-on with tools, equipment, and testing
Collaborative mindset with excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Self-motivated with ability to ask good questions and take initiative
