About the Role
As a Test Bench Engineer, you will play a key role in developing the testing and experimental benches that power our innovation. Working within the R&D department, you will partner with the Manufacturing team to design and implement automated quality inspection systems on the shop floor. You will also support product development by creating custom tools and testing solutions that enable rapid, reliable validation of our products.
Responsibilities
Test Fixture Design – Design and develop production-ready testing and inspection fixtures.
Software Development – Write, and maintain Python code for test automation, data acquisition, and analysis.
CAD Design – Create and modify mechanical designs for test fixtures using CAD tools.
Robotics & Automation – Build automated inspection systems to streamline workflows and reduce repetitive manual inspection.
Cross-Team Collaboration – Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure consistent, high-quality production standards.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background: MSc in Electrical, Software, Mechanical engineering or fields.
Hands-on experience with Python for automation, scripting, and data analysis. Knowledge of C/C++ is a plus.
Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, Onshape or similar).
Experience with automation systems, robotics, or machine vision.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to design practical, robust engineering solutions.
Comfortable performing soldering, wiring, and small-scale electrical circuit design.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.
Familiarity with manufacturing environments and quality assurance practices is a plus.
