Norm Ai is the Compliance AI Platform for legal standards-based reasoning & workflow automation.
We developed the first Domain Specific Language (DSL) for fully representing regulatory requirements in AI code. This DSL, deployed with our enterprise platform, enables Norm clients to transform workflows and apply compliance checks at the source of business activities.
We are setting the norms for compliance processes at the largest institutions in the world. Our client base includes firms with a combined $17 Trillion in assets under management, and growing quickly.
Our Software Engineers came from Palantir, Google, Meta, AWS, Harvard, Stanford, and MIT. Our Legal Engineers are from Harvard Law, Stanford Law, Yale Law, Sullivan & Cromwell, Simpson Thacher, Davis Polk, Greenberg Traurig, the SEC, and FINRA.
We have raised $85 million over the past 18 months from top VCs and global institutions, including Vanguard, Blackstone, Bain Capital, Coatue, Craft Ventures, New York Life, Citi, TIAA, and Marc Benioff.
This Role
We’re hiring our first Value Engineer to define and communicate the ROI story of Norm Ai to the world’s largest financial institutions. You’ll work directly with clients and prospects to deeply understand how they generate and measure business value — then translate that into a first-principles ROI framework that defends and justifies our value proposition.
As the bridge between Finance, Sales, and Product, you’ll develop quantitative models, business cases, and value frameworks that resonate with senior stakeholders and reinforce Norm Ai’s impact. This is a high-visibility role that combines analytical rigor, commercial storytelling, and strategic thinking.
Key Responsibilities
Client Value Discovery: Partner with sales teams and clients to uncover the financial drivers, cost centers, and business outcomes that matter most to them.
ROI Modeling: Build first-principles models that quantify the efficiency, savings, and risk-reduction delivered by Norm Ai, tailored to client context.
Commercial Storytelling: Craft and present compelling narratives and executive-ready materials that position Norm Ai as mission-critical, defensible, and high-ROI.
Proposal & Deal Support: Arm the GTM team with ROI frameworks, calculators, and case studies to strengthen proposals, defend pricing, and accelerate deal cycles.
Continuous Improvement: Build a library of standardized ROI frameworks and benchmarks to scale value engineering across deals and industries.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with Product, Marketing, and Finance to refine pricing, packaging, and customer value propositions.
Explorative Pricing Models: Partner with Finance and Product to design, test, and validate new pricing models that align Norm Ai’s value with client ROI and emerging market needs.
Client Renewal ROI: Work with existing clients to measure realized value, build defensible ROI narratives, and strengthen renewal and expansion discussions with tangible outcomes.
New Segments & Products: Evaluate new product lines and industry segments by developing business cases, pricing strategies, and financial models that identify value drivers and market opportunity.
What You’ll Bring
5+ years in management consulting, value engineering, solutions consulting, or strategic finance roles.
Strong analytical skills and comfort building detailed ROI models in Excel or Google Sheets.
Executive communication skills: ability to simplify complex ideas and present to C-suite stakeholders.
Experience partnering with enterprise sales teams to support high-ACV deals.
A first-principles thinker with intellectual curiosity and the ability to understand client businesses quickly.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-,growth, venture-backed environment.
Comp and Benefits
$200,000 - $250,000 a year plus equity.

Within the range, individual pay is determined by various factors, including job-related skills (as uncovered during the interview process), experience, and relevant education or training.
