This brings our total funding to over $330M from top-tier investors, including Accel, Nvidia, Kleiner Perkins, Google, and top founders and operators including Stripe, Datadog, Miro, Webflow, and Facebook. About the Role As a Principal Product Designer at Synthesia, you’ll have the opportunity to shape and define new product areas. We have multiple roles open: one focused on agent and real-time experiences, and another on our core video creation capabilities. What You’ll Be Working On We're exploring new frontiers in video interaction and creation. As a Principal Product Designer, you'll have the opportunity to work on one of two key areas: designing intelligent, real-time agent experiences, or advancing our core video creation capabilities. Depending on your focus, you might be shaping how virtual agents guide and respond to users in real time, or reimagining the tools and workflows that empower users to create high-quality videos with ease. This is a new paradigm in how people consume and interact with video content and we’re building the UX from the ground up. You’ll be designing the experience layer of intelligent, voice-first video agents that feel more like Zoom calls with an expert than pre-recorded content. This is a space with no best practices, and lots of open questions: What does a good conversational UX look like in a semi-scripted video experience? How do you help users build these experiences without overwhelming them? How do we signal interactivity, guide behavior, and still create something magical? This role sits at the intersection of interaction design, systems thinking, and bleeding-edge AI. You’ll be part of the core team defining how our users design, deploy, and experience many types of videos—whether that’s for sales, training, or support. Responsibilities Lead the design vision for our new agentic video experience or core video creation capabilities, from ideation through to shipped MVP and beyond. Work closely with PMs, engineers, researchers, and other designers to turn complex user needs into intuitive, powerful UX. Define new interaction paradigms for AI-led voice interfaces with dynamic branching, knowledge integration, and visual storytelling. Extend (or challenge) existing patterns in our editor to support new flows like decision trees, prompt design, and scene logic. Shape foundational UX questions like: how do you make a scene agentic? How do you blend scripted video with real-time interactivity? Contribute to our broader product strategy by championing design thinking and user needs across the team. Champion a culture of design excellence and continuous improvement at the organizational level. Drive cross-functional collaboration to elevate design quality and consistency throughout the product. Influence and evolve our design processes, ensuring best practices are adopted across teams. Requirements 8+ years of experience designing end-to-end experiences for SaaS tools or complex web products. A strong portfolio that demonstrates systems thinking, interaction design, and an ability to bring clarity to ambiguous problem spaces. Strong visual design craft and storytelling skills Experience designing creation tools or platforms—you know how to balance power with usability, and make sophisticated tools feel intuitive. Strong product intuition and a collaborative spirit. You’re comfortable proposing bold ideas and iterating quickly with PMs and engineers. A deep empathy for users and a drive to make novel technologies feel approachable and useful. A bias toward action - we move fast, test ideas quickly, and ship iteratively. Designers who bring the following will stand out: Experience with AI/LLM-powered interfaces or conversational UI Interest in motion design and interactive prototyping Experience building design systems or working with visual branching logic Our Values At Synthesia we expect everyone to: Put the Customer First Own it & Go Direct Be Fast & Experimental Make the Journey Fun You can read more about this in our public Notion page. Benefits 💸 A very competitive salary + stock options in our fast growing Series D start-up. 📍 A remote-friendly environment for team members in Europe. Solid understanding of TCP/IP and core protocols: BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, VLAN, VXLAN, EVPN, ACLs/NAT, DHCP, DNS, and QoS. Proficiency with troubleshooting tools: Wireshark/tcpdump, mtr/traceroute, nmap, curl, iperf; comfortable on Linux for diagnostics and log analysis. Experience operating multi-vendor networks (e.g., Arista, Cisco, Juniper, NVIDIA/Mellanox) and load balancers/firewalls. Familiarity with AWS/GCP/Azure networking concepts (VPC/VNet, IGW/NATGW, peering, PrivateLink, routing, security groups). Strong scripting/automation fundamentals (e.g., Bash/Python), and comfort with Git-based workflows for config versioning and change reviews. Clear, concise communicator—able to write incident timelines, RCAs, and user-facing updates under time pressure. Preferred Knowledge of RoCE and Infiniband protocols a plus Hands-on Kubernetes troubleshooting experience: CNI fundamentals (policies, encapsulation), Services/Ingress, DNS (CoreDNS), kube-proxy, and container runtime basics a huge plus Understanding of AI training workloads and the demands they exert on networks a plus About Together AI Together AI is a research-driven artificial intelligence company.
