They will derive and implement novel real-time pose estimation algorithms, research, develop and implement algorithms to solve large-scale mapping problems, and collaborate with other engineers to develop algorithms for in-situ and in-factory multi-sensor calibration. Responsibilities include leading high-impact multidisciplinary projects independently to define scope and work requirements, sharing novel real-time pose estimation algorithms across teams, researching and implementing algorithms for large-scale mapping, probabilistic object tracking, sensor calibration, and vision-based localization, collaborating with deep learning, device, and cloud teams to improve system architectures, managing complex cross-functional projects from conception to delivery, creating and maintaining project roadmaps and technical documentation, programming and developing software in C++, and performing detailed code reviews for team members.
