Key Responsibilities

Data Platform

  • Own end-to-end data platform: batch and streaming pipelines ingesting from crawlers, integration APIs (e.g. Google Search Console, Google Analytics, CDN Logs), product analytics, and CRM

  • Run the data warehouse with strong performance, cost management, and observability

  • Implement orchestration, dbt transformations, data contracts, and automated testing

Data Science & ML

  • Build ML systems that analyze AI search behavior, identify content opportunities, and predict performance

  • Take models from research to production, optimizing for latency and cost at scale

Analytics

  • Deliver metrics that power dashboards, experiments, and customer-facing analytics

  • Partner with Product and GTM teams on tracking plans and impact measurement

Leadership

  • Build and lead the data team: hire, mentor, and level up engineers and scientists

  • Drive cross-functional projects and translate business requirements into technical solutions

Qualifications

Required

  • 8+ years in data roles with 3+ years leading teams

  • Strong background in both data engineering and data science

  • Expert SQL and Python; hands-on with dbt, Airflow/Prefect, Snowflake/BigQuery

  • Track record building data products that directly impact business outcomes

Preferred

  • Domain experience in marketing, ad tech, or growth experimentation

  • Experience with LLM applications and AI agents

  • Background in customer-facing analytics products
