About the Role
We are seeking an Imaging Software Engineer to design and implement the different image correction and stabilization algorithms (wobble correction, rectification, …) for various optical payloads for UAVs. These algorithms will be optimized to run efficiently on dedicated embedded hardware.
Responsibilities
Design of Electronic Image Stabilization (EIS) algorithms, including:
Wobble correction
Rotation residuals correction
Image rectification
Multi-camera blending and stitching
Implementation of experimental setup for EIS measurement
Implementation on dedicated hardware (ISP / DSP / GPU)
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background: MSc in Computer Science, Optical Engineering, or related fields. A PhD in Computer Science, Computer Vision, or Optics is a plus.
At least 4 years of experience in algorithmic design for image processing (Computer Vision, Image Stabilization, etc…)
Experience with low-level hardware acceleration (GPU / DSP)
Extensive culture in robotics vision
Experience with drone cameras is a huge plus, experience with embedded systems is a plus
Excellent level of Python and C/C++ is required
Excellent written and verbal communication
