About Loop
Loop is the data platform for the global supply chain. Logistics runs on messy, unstructured data—trapped in PDFs, emails, and legacy systems. We use AI to structure this chaos, creating a "source of truth" that automates payments and audits for the Fortune 100.
We are building the financial nervous system for a $100 trillion physical economy. Our technology ensures freight moves efficiently and carriers get paid instantly.
Backed by Founders Fund, Index Ventures and 8VC, we are scaling rapidly. We are looking for engineers ready to deploy production AI that powers the physical economy.
About the New Grad Program
Most AI stays in the browser. Ours moves atoms. You aren't just building features; you are building the autonomous brain for the Fortune 100’s global supply chain.
This program is designed to compress 3 years of learning into 1 year by throwing you into the deep end of production AI systems on Day 1. Instead of sandboxed projects, you get to solve real problems and impact customers directly. This program demands intense investment, but by the end, you will perform as a strong entry-level engineer jumpstarting your career.
The Schedule:
Week 1 (Onboarding): Deep dive into tools and domain. You will ship code to production on Day 1 and fully grasp our dev loop by Friday.
Months 1-3 (Velocity): You will deliver 3 entry-level projects with increasing ambiguity. By the end of Month 3, you are expected to operate as a fully independent engineer.
Months 4-9 (The Rotation): You will rotate onto a different high-impact team to expand your surface area. Tracks include:
Platform: AI infrastructure and Engineering Systems.
Core Product: Audit, Billing, and Payments logic.
Commercial: Revenue Activation and Forward Deployed Engineering.
Special Projects: Partnering directly with the CEO/CTO and other execs
Month 9+ (Graduation): You should demonstrate Mid-Level Engineer performance and will be considered for immediate promotion.
About You
We are not looking for just “straight-A students." We are looking for obsessive builders with spikes. If the following resonates, you belong here:
You build on nights and weekends. You have a repo, a side hustle, or a project you built just because you were curious.
You don't wait for class assignments to write code. You hate waiting for approval.
You prefer to ship, break, fix, and apologize rather than wait for a committee decision. You are bored by easy tasks. You want problems that are more than 1 prompt away from a solution.
You grind to win. You are the type to skip social events just to climb the Esports ladder, ace a math competition, or debug a complex issue—purely for the joy of mastery.
Responsibilities
Ship critical infrastructure. Manage real-world logistics and financial data for the largest enterprise in the world..
Own the why. Build deep context through customer calls, and understand the Loop’s value to our customers. You push back on requirements if you see a better, faster way to solve the customer’s problem.
Full-stack proficiency. Work across system boundaries, from frontend UX to LLM agents, database schema and event infrastructures.
Leverage AI tools to handle the 90% boilerplate, so you can focus the highest leverage 10%: quality, architecture, product taste.
Raise the velocity bar. You will constantly optimize our dev loops, refactor legacy patterns, automate your own workflows and fix broken processes.
Qualifications
Graduating with a BS or higher in STEM fields; available to start full-time in 2026.
Working in person in the SF, Chicago, or NYC office 4 days a week.
Proficiency with modern techstack. You can deliver a modern web app in hours not in days..
Unblocking yourself. You thrive in ambiguity. Despite the chaos, you deliver high quality products and business impact.
AI Literate. You have strong intuition on how LLM works: where they excel and where they generate slop. You live and breathe AI native tools (Cursor, Codex, Claude Code etc.)
Compensation
$150,000 annual base pay
Benefits & Perks

About P-1 AI:We are building an engineering AGI. We founded P-1 AI with the conviction that the greatest impact of artificial intelligence will be on the built world. Our first product is Archie, an AI engineer capable of quantitative intuition over physical product domains and engineering tool use. Archie initially performs at the level of an entry-level design engineer but rapidly gets smarter and more capable. We aim to put an Archie on every engineering team at every industrial company on earth. Our founding team includes the top minds in deep learning, model-based engineering, and industries that are our customers. We closed a $23 million seed round led by Radical Ventures that includes a number of other AI and industrial luminaries (from OpenAI, DeepMind, etc.).About the role:
We’re a small team tackling an ambitious problem. At the core of our solution is an intelligent, agentic platform that acts as a tireless teammate which can perform all of the same actions that human engineers can, from developing an intuition about the company’s products and the physics at play in their design, to accessing and using information systems, to decomposing performance requirements and developing them into design solutions. Archie must be scalable, responsive, and competent, and must also be deployable within the corporate networks of our customers so that he can see their most valuable information and do his job well. Our Senior SWE for the Agentic AI Platform will design and implement solutions for these challenges, which range from classic distributed systems, integration, and security work, to robustly implementing advanced intelligence features developed by our AI research team. Ownership comes by default, but as Archie becomes more sophisticated we also have potential growth into technical leadership for specific specialty areas. This role can be either remote (based in US or Canada and with existing work authorization) or based in our San Mateo Bay Area office. If you are remote, you should plan to spend one week out of six co-working with the rest of the company in our San Mateo office. We will support relocation for candidates interested in moving to the Bay Area. Why this role:This role is where AI meets reality. Every user that works with Archie will be using features and capabilities that you have built, no matter the industry or context. What you’ll do:Work with our team to understand our Archie capability roadmap and decompose capabilities into technical development.Turn capability prototypes and PoCs from our AI research team into robust, scalable implementations.Diagnose and solve technical problems identified by our team or users.Develop and act on automated platform tests, including traditional software testing, agentic AI evals, and infrastructure.Improve Archie’s scalability and robustness through system architecture design and implementation.Who you are:You’ve consistently taken technical ownership of production-grade software. You’re experienced with application development in Python. You’ve built and implemented data models and database interactions. You develop an obsession with understanding your users’ goals and incorporating this knowledge into your solutions.Take pride in developing quality code and practices. Are aggressively seeking ways to use AI better in your own workflows. Our values:Mission obsession & urgency: We are obsessed with building engineering AGI as quickly as possible. We also recognize that as a startup, speed is our most precious competitive advantage. We are constantly asking ourselves what we can do to go faster. We make tradeoffs and sacrifices (personally and in the workplace) in exchange for speed.Intellectual excellence & curiosity: We ask “what if?” and experiment liberally. We always look for better ways of doing something. We read voraciously. We challenge each other to be better. We surround ourselves with A players and we actively and unapologetically reject B players (and even B+ players⸺because they tend to surround themselves with C players).Shipping discipline: We treat production with respect. We test and demo our product constantly. We listen attentively to our customers, users, and stakeholders, and we respect our commitments to them. We also respect our commitments to each other and will go the extra mile (or ten or one hundred) to honor them.Ownership: We all have significant ownership stakes in the company and operate in founder mode. We believe in hierarchical requirements but not in hierarchical information flows. If we see that something is broken or can be done better, we flag it and we fix it. We encourage each other to play with and fix anything and everything... but there’s a clear owner for everything.Interview process:Initial screening call (30 mins)Biographical/behavioural interview (45 mins)Technical interview (60 mins)CEO interview (30 mins)Compensation:Salary: $200k - $250k.This role includes a significant equity component. We are an early-stage startup, so we favor equity over cash in our current compensation philosophy. This role is best suited for candidates who value long-term ownership and impact over short-term cash optimization. Our benefits include healthcare, dental, and vision insurance, 401k with employer matching, unlimited PTO.

We’re looking for a Platform Engineer, Applied Evaluations to define and operationalize quality for the agentic systems that power Antimetal’s investigation and automation engine. This role is core to our product. You’ll own online and offline evaluation pipelines that operate over petabytes of infrastructure data, and shape agent platform abstractions where necessary to ensure our agents are measurable, debuggable, and reliable. You’ll partner closely with platform, product, and research, leveraging quality signals to accelerate iteration across the company.About AntimetalAntimetal is building the future of infrastructure management. We're starting by creating a platform that investigates, resolves, and prevents issues—giving engineers their time back to focus on what they do best: building great products. What you'll do:Own the evaluation stack: Build online and offline eval pipelines that measure agent quality across ephemeral, voluminous MELT data, code, and unstructured docs. Set the metrics that define the experience.Define quality at scale: Production incidents span hundreds of services–ephemeral, high-volume, and where ground truth is approximative. Design evals that capture trajectory quality, not just final outputs, and validate that your metrics predict real outcomes.Build platform abstractions for agents: Design core agent architectures and extend internal frameworks (e.g. sub-agents, MCPs, middleware) – that lets product, platform, and research iterate with confidence and ship faster.Productionize: Own latency, observability, and uptime. What you do:At least 3 years of experience in ML platform engineering, data engineering, or a related role, preferably at a high-growth company.Prior experience designing evaluation systems where ground truth is noisy, high-volume, and hard to label (e.g. computer vision, deep research pipelines)Strong system design skills: you think about how data flows through distributed systems and how decisions compound at scale.Proven ability to write clean, scalable code and strong data modeling skills.Demonstrated ability to bring ambiguous goals from prototype to production, using data and experimentation to drive product and architectural decisions.Proficient in Python and Typescript, with experience using common ML libraries and data engineering tools.Bonus:Experience with SRE-best practices and modern observability (OTEL, distributed tracing)Strong on ML fundamentals: classification/regression, clustering, dimensionality reduction, evaluation + error analysis, probabilistic MLExperience with agent architectures: multi-step reasoning, tool use, context managementWho you are:Identify as a builderAre excited to work in-person from our new and spacious office in New YorkLove working in a startup environment (experience in a startup or obsession with going zero-to-one)Enjoy working with people who are ambitious, caring, and think in systemsThrive in a fast-paced iterative environment where experimentation is essentialWhat we bring:Pay & ownership — Competitive salary with generous equity grants.Full coverage + retirement — Fully covered health, dental, and vision, plus retirement benefits.Unlimited PTO — Take the time you need to recharge.Dinner on late nights — Working late? Dinner is on us.Fitness stipend — Monthly support for your health and wellness.Tools of the trade — Any equipment you need to do your best work.Commute perks — Citi Bike + train benefits.Interview processApplication Review – Send us your stuff, and a quick note on why you're excited.Intro Chat: Share what you're looking for next and learn more about what we're building.Founder Interview: Talk with one of our founders in more detail about the roleTechnical Interview: We’ll have you complete a short exercise specific to the role.Onsite: Come onsite and meet the team through a series of 1:1 interviews.Decision – We’ll move fast.

About ElicitElicit is an AI research platform that uses language models to help researchers figure out what's true and make better decisions, starting with common research tasks like literature review. What we're aiming for:Elicit radically increases the amount of good reasoning in the world. For experts, Elicit pushes the frontier forward. For non-experts, Elicit makes good reasoning more affordable. People who don't have the tools, expertise, time, or mental energy to make well-reasoned decisions on their own can do so with Elicit.Elicit is a scalable ML system based on human-understandable task decompositions, with supervision of process, not outcomes. This expands our collective understanding of safe AGI architectures.Visit our Twitter to learn more about how Elicit is helping researchers and making progress on our mission. The mission of Elicit evalsSome orgs build evals to warn us about dangerous capabilities. Others build evals to understand trends and predict future developments. Yet others build evals to hill-climb towards models that users will like more.At Elicit, we're focused on something different—we want to understand, and hill-climb towards, models that help us make better decisions. This is tougher than "what will users like better"—it's hard to evaluate decision support, and users' knee-jerk reactions may not align with what actually helps for decision-making. Because it's hard, and because the sales pitch is more complicated, there aren't many doing this well. If we nail this, we have a unique opportunity to push AI toward helping us make better decisions, both within Elicit and beyond. Why we're hiring for this roleWe need someone to own the technical foundation of our auto-evaluation systems. Our evals are currently much slower than they need to be, and our interfaces aren't optimized for the diverse set of people who need to use them—ML engineers iterating on models, product managers monitoring quality, and customers assessing trust in results. The right person for this role won't just build infrastructure. You'll think deeply about what it actually means for Elicit to help with decision-making in pharma and encode that understanding into our evaluation systems. What you'll ownThe core auto-eval platformYou'll build a comprehensive system that runs fast, is easy to use, and supports quickly building new evals:Speed: You’ll build a lightning-fast basic evals infrastructure that schedules tasks to introduce practically no latency; and then you’ll figure out clever ways to solve the fundamental sources of latency (building a version of Elicit, running it on a query, and evaluating it using LMs)Interfaces: ML engineers need evals to kick off automatically on relevant commits, with results they can see at a glance and drill into. Product managers need dashboards showing performance over time and what's going wrong in production.Architecture: Your code must be well-architected so other team members and ML engineers can understand and build on it. An engineer starting on a new feature should be able to quickly add examples and run an eval.Ensuring evaluations are accurate and reliableWe need to evaluate how well Elicit actually helps with decision-making in pharma, not just measure what's easy to measure. This requires encoding real knowledge about how pharma customers make decisions (for example, choosing appropriate gold standards). You'll provide appropriate statistical tests and confidence intervals so we can trust our results.A month in your lifeIn a typical month, expect to spend:60% working on the core eval platform15% working closely with the evals team to build and improve specific evals (e.g., an eval of our paper search within our systematic review flow)10% mentoring our evals engineering internThe rest on learning how people interact with the eval system so you can make it work better for them, and understanding what our users want from Elicit so evals measure what mattersWhat you bring to the roleRequirementsAt least 3 years of experience as a professional software engineer, with demonstrated experience building complex backend systems (e.g., backend for a complex website, data pipelines, etc.)Aptitude and interest in evaluating how Elicit helps with pharma decision-making. There's no particular experience you must have, but we'll evaluate your aptitude. Will make you more competitive for the roleKnowledge of statistics (for e.g. calculating power and credence intervals for evals)Experience with advanced Python (asyncio/trio and parallel processing strategies)Front-end experience and strong UX sensibility (you'll be building dashboards). TypeScript experience is a plus.Experience building developer tools (ML engineers are one of your most important clients)Previous experience as a data engineer or working on AI infrastructureKnowledge of pharma/biomedExperience evaluating ML systemsExperience building language-model-based systems (helps with understanding Elicit and how to evaluate it)This is a diverse list of nice-to-haves. We expect the candidate we select to have some, but not all, of these. Other team members can fill in for skills you lack.Location and travelWe have a lovely office in Oakland, CA, but we’re flexible about where you work. You’re welcome to work remotely, from our Oakland headquarters, or in a hybrid setup. The only in-person requirement is attending our quarterly team retreats, typically held on the west coast. Compensation, benefits, and perksIn addition to working on important problems as part of a productive and positive team, we also offer great benefits (with some variation based on location):Flexible work environment: work from our office in Oakland or remotely with time zone overlap (between GMT and GMT-8), as long as you can travel for in-person retreats and coworking eventsFully covered health, dental, vision, and life insurance for you, generous coverage for the rest of your familyFlexible vacation policy, with a minimum recommendation of 20 days/year + company holidays401K with a 6% employer matchA new Mac + $1,000 budget to set up your workstation or home office in your first year, then $500 every year thereafter$1,000 quarterly AI Experimentation & Learning budget, so you can freely experiment with new AI tools, take courses, purchase educational resources, or attend AI-focused conferences and eventsA team administrative assistant who can help you with personal and work tasksFor all roles at Elicit, we use a data-backed compensation framework to keep salaries market-competitive, equitable, and simple to understand. About GranicaGranica is an AI research and infrastructure company building reliable and steerable representations for enterprise structured data. The rarest thing in enterprise AI is durable access plus trust. Crunch is how we earn it: a policy-driven physical health layer that keeps large tabular data estates efficient and reliable, safely and reversibly. On top of that foundation, we’re building structured intelligence using Large Tabular Models: systems that learn cross-column and relational structure to deliver trustworthy answers and automation with provenance and governance built in.Engineering Manager — Foundational Data Systems for AILocation: Downtown Mountain View, CA (office-based, 5 days/week)
Team: Foundational Data SystemsAbout the RoleWe’re hiring an Engineering Manager to lead our core team building Granica’s Foundational Data Systems—the infrastructure layer that everything else depends on.You’ll lead a globally distributed team of ~15–20 senior engineers across the US, India, and Canada, owning systems across storage, metadata, compute, and infrastructure. This is a high-impact leadership role with real architectural influence and long-term ownership.Data infrastructure is critical at Granica. The systems your team builds directly determine the reliability, efficiency, and velocity of our research, product development, and enterprise deployments. This role is ideal for a technically strong leader who enjoys building teams, shaping systems that last, and operating with high trust and autonomy. The MissionAI today is constrained not just by model design, but by the inefficiency of the data that feeds it. At scale, redundant bytes, poorly organized datasets, and inefficient data paths translate directly into higher cost, slower iteration, and wasted energy.Granica’s mission is to remove that inefficiency at the foundation. We design self-optimizing data infrastructure—systems that continuously reorganize, compress, and maintain structured data so it can be learned from efficiently and reliably by AI systems. This engineering team works closely with the Granica Research group led by Prof. Andrea Montanari (Stanford), translating advances in information theory and learning efficiency into large-scale distributed systems. Together, we believe the next major advance in AI will come from better systems and better data, not simply larger models. What You’ll DoLead, mentor, and grow a team of senior engineers across multiple geographiesOwn hiring, onboarding, and career development in a high-bar engineering cultureSet technical direction through design reviews, RFCs, and principled trade-offsOwn the design and evolution of foundational systems spanning:Table maintenance and data layoutMetadata, transactions, and schema evolutionDistributed compute and orchestrationReliability, observability, and operational toolingTranslate strategy into execution through roadmaps and milestonesEstablish and uphold reliability, latency, and operational standardsLead incident response, postmortems, and continuous system improvementPartner closely with Research, Applied AI, Product, and Infrastructure teams to move ideas from research into productionSkills and QualificationsMinimum Qualifications7+ years of experience in backend, infrastructure, or distributed systems engineering2+ years leading engineering teams or large, multi-person technical initiativesDeep expertise in distributed compute frameworks (e.g., Spark, Trino, Presto) and columnar formats (Parquet, ORC)Experience building or operating data platforms, lakehouse systems, or large-scale analytics infrastructureStrong systems design instincts across distributed compute, storage, and data platformsExperience operating and scaling production systems with real reliability requirementsHands-on technical background; comfortable participating in deep technical discussions
Preferred QualificationsExperience with Iceberg, Delta Lake, or similar table formatsExperience partnering closely with research or ML teamsTrack record of scaling teams in high-ambiguity, fast-moving environmentsLogisticsLocation: Downtown Mountain View, CAWork model: Office-based, five days per weekTeam: Foundational Data SystemsLeadership scope: ~15–20 engineers across the US, India, and CanadaWhy GranicaFundamental Research Meets Enterprise Impact. Work at the intersection of science and engineering, turning foundational research into deployed systems serving enterprise workloads at exabyte scale.AI by Design. Build the infrastructure that defines how efficiently the world can create and apply intelligence.Real Ownership. Design primitives that will underpin the next decade of AI infrastructure.High-Trust Environment. Deep technical work, minimal bureaucracy, shared mission.Enduring Horizon. Backed by NEA, Bain Capital, and various luminaries from tech and business. We are building a generational company for decades, not quarters or a product cycle.Compensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary, meaningful equity, and substantial bonus for top performersFlexible time off plus comprehensive health coverage for you and your familySupport for research, publication, and deep technical explorationAt Granica, you will shape the fundamental infrastructure that makes intelligence itself efficient, structured, and enduring. About Encord
At Encord, we're building the AI infrastructure of the future. One of the biggest challenges AI companies face today is data quality. The success of any AI application relies heavily on the quality of its training data, yet for most teams, this crucial step is both the most costly and time-consuming. We’re here to change that.As former computer scientists, physicists, and quants, we’ve experienced firsthand how a lack of tools to prepare quality training data impedes progress in building AI. We believe AI is at a stage similar to the early days of computing or the internet—where the potential is clear, but the surrounding tools and processes are still catching up. That's why we started Encord.
We are a talented and ambitious team of 100+, working at the cutting edge of computer vision and deep learning. Backed by $30M in Series B funding from top investors like CRV and Y Combinator, we’re one of the fastest-growing companies in our space. We have big plans ahead and are looking to expand our Engineering team to help us in building a better product for our customers.
What you’ll work on / the team you’ll join
We’re building tools for the full Physical AI data stack - from data acquisition, through ingestion and curation at scale to 3D rendering, annotation and verification. You’ll solve problems of large scale efficient data transfer and storage, complex domain modelling, applying the latest machine learning models and squeezing performance out of web browsers.
Who we are looking for
You feel at home with challenging front-end work, such as rendering complex 3D scenes with thousands of objects while maintaining smooth frame rates. You’ll work with the biggest names in robotics and autonomous vehicles. You’ll understand the details of with visual, spatial and sensor data, making sense of reality. You will operate with high degrees of autonomy and be expected to craft at speed. We need performant, reliable and maintainable solutions to challenging problems - both technical and product.
You'll join us at a crucial stage of accelerated development for the company, product and team. As part of a small, highly collaborative group, you'll be a key driver of progress on a core part of our product.
What to expect
- High performing team: You'll join the small team that has built a product that our customers love. Members of the team are veterans of both established companies and successful startups. While the team is more than a sum of its parts, every member is impressive in their own right- Impact: Your work will have direct and tangible impact for customers and in turn noticeably affect the trajectory of the company.- End-to-end ownership: You will be entrusted with end-to-end ownership of your projects. From product, design and architectural decisions, all the way to deployment, monitoring and measuring impact on users. You will work across the stack, covering everything from deployment to styling. We expect each other to take initiative, be proactive in problem-solving, and continuously seek improvements.- Autonomy and collaboration: You will often work autonomously to take charge of your projects, make decisions, and drive your work forward. But as a lean and high trust team, we remain quick to collaborate and support each other with challenging problems together.- Scale and simplicity: You will tackle complex domains and immense scale with simple solutions. You'll leverage your expertise to solve challenging problems in simple ways.
