About the Methods Squad
The Methods squad works across the stack to build AI-native applications that power the next wave of innovation in engineering. We build and own the core software components of the platform, developing methods for 3D data generation and visualization, surrogate modelling and optimization, and integration with external CAE and CAD software.
What You Will Do
As a full-stack engineer in the Methods Squad, you will contribute to core systems of the platform, helping translate advanced methods into reliable engineering workflows.
You will:
Develop high-performance applications to embed AI within 3D design optimization workflows.
Architect and implement optimized, intuitive APIs with an emphasis on usability reliability and performance.
Support the development of advanced database and unstructured data management systems.
Build intuitive and interactive user interfaces, such as dashboards and tools for exploring, visualizing, and manipulating 3D engineering data.
Partner with product and design teams to define problem statements and develop solutions that measurably enhance user value.

You are an all-round software engineer. More than “full stack”, you think systems and outcomes, and you’re excited to apply this to the next generation of AI-powered engineering software.
You bring:
Proven experience building full-stack software from the ground up, as well as contributing to complex codebases – with Python in particular.
Frontend engineering experience to build delightful interfaces with modern frameworks and TypeScript.
Experience with scientific data visualization.
Engineering-related background with strong interest in mechanical engineering and/or related disciplines
Thoughtful software architecture and API design for scalable and efficient development.
Exposure to CAD/CAE tools is a plus
A product-driven mindset, focused on delivering user value and building high-quality products
