Job Description

About Us:

webAI is pioneering the future of artificial intelligence by establishing the first distributed AI infrastructure dedicated to personalized AI. We recognize the evolving demands of a data-driven society for scalability and flexibility, and we firmly believe that the future of AI lies in distributed processing at the edge, bringing computation closer to the source of data generation. Our mission is to build a future where a company's valuable data and intellectual property remain entirely private, enabling the deployment of large-scale AI models directly on standard consumer hardware without compromising the information embedded within those models. We are developing an end-to-end platform that is secure, scalable, and fully under the control of our users, empowering enterprises with AI that understands their unique business. We are a team driven by truth, ownership, tenacity, and humility, and we seek individuals who resonate with these core values and are passionate about shaping the next generation of AI.

About the Role:

As a Senior or Principal Product Manager for our Platform, you will be a key driver behind the services and infrastructure that form the backbone of webAI. You will own the strategy and execution for core areas of our platform, focusing on creating world-class developer experiences, scaling our systems, and ensuring our platform is reliable, secure, and compliant. This is a senior individual contributor role where you will lead complex, high-impact initiatives, working cross-functionally to deliver infrastructure that empowers our engineers, data scientists, and product teams to build securely and at speed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the product strategy and roadmap for key platform domains, such as APIs, developer tooling, identity and access management, and core services, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.

  • Collaborate closely with AI/ML teams to understand their needs and deliver the underlying platform infrastructure required for efficient model training, deployment, monitoring, and governance.

  • Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for foundational platform areas. This includes gathering requirements from internal customers, writing detailed product specifications, prioritizing backlogs, and working hand-in-hand with engineering teams to ship high-quality products.

  • Act as a key product leader and bridge between Engineering, AI/ML, Security, Data, and other product teams to ensure platform initiatives are tightly aligned with organizational needs and technical realities.

  • Mentor other product managers and lead by influence, driving alignment and execution across multiple engineering squads and stakeholder groups without direct authority.

  • Define and analyze metrics that measure the success of platform products. Clearly communicate your product's performance, value, and impact to stakeholders and leadership.

Requirements & Skills

  • 7+ years of product management experience, with at least 4+ years focused on technical, platform, or infrastructure products.

  • Demonstrated success in shipping and scaling secure, reliable platforms that power customer-facing products, preferably in an AI or fintech environment.

  • Deep understanding of developer platforms, modern software architecture (e.g., microservices, APIs), data infrastructure, and cloud environments (e.g., AWS, GCP).

  • Strong familiarity with the AI/ML product development lifecycle, model infrastructure, and MLOps principles.

  • Exceptional ability to lead through influence, drive consensus among senior engineers and stakeholders, and clearly communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • A product mindset balanced with strong technical fluency and a bias for action.

Preferred (but not required)

  • Understanding of DORA metrics to track engineering efficiency, guide platform strategy, and demonstrate the impact of developer productivity initiatives

  • Exposure to LLM infrastructure, prompt orchestration, or AI agent frameworks.

  • Familiarity with p2p network, blockchain or similar technologies.

  • Background in enterprise SaaS, devtools, or platform-as-a-product strategy.

  • Working knowledge of compliance environments and data privacy regulations (SOC 2, PCI DSS, GDPR, etc.).

We at webAI are committed to living out the core values we have put in place as the foundation on which we operate as a team. We seek individuals who exemplify the following:

  • Truth - Emphasizing transparency and honesty in every interaction and decision.

  • Ownership - Taking full responsibility for one’s actions and decisions, demonstrating commitment to the success of our clients.

  • Tenacity - Persisting in the face of challenges and setbacks, continually striving for excellence and improvement.

  • Humility - Maintaining a respectful and learning-oriented mindset, acknowledging the strengths and contributions of others.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary and performance-based incentives.

  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision benefits package.

  • 401k Match (US-based only)

  • $200/mos Health and Wellness Stipend

  • $400/year Continuing Education Credit

  • $500/year Function Health subscription (US-based only)

  • Free parking, for in-office employees

  • Unlimited Approved PTO

  • Parental Leave for Eligible Employees

  • Supplemental Life Insurance
