The Software Engineer, Voice AI (Bengali) role possesses native-level proficiency in speaking Bengali and an interest in creating user-friendly Voice AI products using C++. The position learns and applies the most advanced technologies in the fields of Natural Language Processing (NLP), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Generation (NLG), speech, and search, all built in-house at SoundHound AI. Prior experience in these specialized fields is not required.
In this role, you will:
- Simultaneously leverage your coding skills and your knowledge of the Bengali language
- Develop Conversational AI leveraging a powerful domain-oriented development paradigm
- Implement and scale core code base, solving both algorithmic and design challenges
- Write code that interacts with third-party API’s
- Collaborate closely with engineers who are building similar features for a variety of languages
We would love to hear from you if:
- You have excellent coding skills in C++ and at least one scripting language
- You have experience designing unit and integration tests and maintaining rigorous standards for code quality
- You have native-level proficiency in spoken Bengali and professional-level fluency in English
- You are passionate about working at the intersection of software engineering and linguistics
- You have experience designing efficient architectures, algorithms, and interfaces
- You are passionate about working on complex, open-ended challenges and improving existing solutions
- You are comfortable working in a Linux environment
- You have 2+years of exp, Bachelor’s of Science in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
