Role Overview:
We’re looking for a Staff Full Stack Engineer to join our fast-moving team in Palo Alto and help build the next generation of Agentic AI applications—reimagining daily work for the heavy industry workforce that powers nearly 20% of global GDP.
In this high-ownership role, you’ll work closely with our Head of Engineering and company leadership to design and ship full-stack systems that combine LLM-powered agents, real-time data, and multimodal interfaces. This is a rare opportunity to define foundational architecture, shape engineering culture, and accelerate your career by delivering applied AI that supports the workers driving the real-world economy.
Note: This role is expected to be based in the Bay Area, with at least 3 days per week in our Palo Alto office.
What You’ll Do:
- Design and develop full-stack features that integrate real-time data, LLM reasoning, and rich user interfaces.
- Collaborate directly with engineering leadership and product stakeholders to turn customer needs into scalable software.
- Build APIs, backend services, and frontend interfaces that support agentic workflows and multimodal search (voice, image, document).
- Ensure applications are production-ready for deployment in customer VPCs (AWS & Azure), with an emphasis on security, observability, and resilience.
- Write robust, clean, and testable code across the stack using Python (FastAPI), React (TypeScript), and cloud-native technologies.
- Contribute to DevSecOps pipelines, container orchestration (Kubernetes), and CI/CD automation to drive release velocity.
- Play a key role in shaping the engineering culture and mentoring teammates as the team grows.
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong foundation in full-stack development.
- Proven track record building cloud-native applications for enterprise use cases.
- Deep experience with Python (FastAPI or equivalent), React/Next.js, TypeScript, and API design.
- Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on AWS and/or Azure, including to customer-managed VPCs.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems, service orchestration, and backend scalability.
- Startup experience and shipping product, ideally 0 to 1.
- Ability to move fast, make trade-offs, and deliver features with high product impact and technical excellence.
- Bonus: Familiarity with GenAI/LLM tooling (e.g., OpenAI, LangGraph), retrieval systems, or multimodal data.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
