Technical Project Manager, Handshake AI
About the Job
We are looking for detail oriented and experienced Technical Project Managers to join the Handshake AI team. In this role, you will manage complex projects and work with experts to build datasets to train and evaluate AI models.
Your Role
Support execution of high-impact customer data collection pipelines, ensuring steady progress and measurable outcomes.
Collaborate with Strategic Projects Leads and others to align on project timelines, deliverables, and quality standards.
Build and execute assessment strategies (tests, rubrics, pass/fail gates) to ensure only top talent is onboarded
Own delivery KPIs such as accuracy, velocity, contributor utilization, and report them via live dashboards.
Develop and optimize infrastructure for data pipelines to ensure quality, scalability, and operational efficiency.
Support and manage globally distributed teams of expert LLM contributors through training, coaching, and hands-on guidance.
Design and implement analytics to inform decision making and improve pipeline and team performance.
Conduct quality reviews to maintain annotation accuracy and consistency.
Design and manage systems to keep stakeholders informed through regular updates, analytics, and project and platform recommendations
Your Experience
2+ years of experience in research, consulting, data science, or business.
Fluent English in both written and verbal communication
Strong proficiency in Excel/Sheets & SQL
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively across time zones.
Bonus areas of expertise
Proven experience managing distributed teams or contributor pods.
Familiarity with data annotation pipelines and machine learning workflows.
Extensive experience with SQL or other database languages.
Strong analytical and process improvement experience.

Working Hours
You will work closely with your United States counterparts, matching their hours to ensure seamless collaboration. All teams (US and India) are expected to work 12 hours per day, 6 days a week, with required overlap with US time zones.
